Sell access to selected app content, features, or experiences through in-app purchases on Android and iOS.
In-app purchases let you charge users for digital access inside your app. This is useful when you want to unlock premium content, paid features, subscriptions, or specific app sections without setting up a separate payment gateway inside the app.
AppMySite lets you connect an in-app purchase to a specific action or item in your app. The actual payment is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, while AppMySite controls where the purchase is triggered inside the app.
You can create an in-app purchase from the monetization section of your app. First, you choose what the purchase should unlock or where it should appear. This can be linked to app launch, a menu item, a page, a post, a bookmark, the cart, chat, or another supported app entity.
Once the item is created, AppMySite generates a product ID. You use this product ID inside App Store Connect or Google Play Console when setting up the matching in-app purchase product and price.
For iOS apps, you can connect your Apple App Store account and configure the details needed for in-app purchases. For Android apps, you can connect the Google Play Store using the required service account details.
You can also customize the screen users see before the store purchase prompt appears. This lets you explain what they are unlocking, update the heading and description, change the button text, and style the screen so it fits your app.
